Ms. Ziegler is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island and Quinnipiac College School of Law, 1998. She served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Michael K. Diamond presiding Judge in the Family Division of the Superior Court in Passaic County. She was trained as a mediator in small claims and landlord tenant matters. During her law school career, she was a law clerk to the Honorable Jerome Hornblaas in the Criminal Part of the State Supreme Court in New York. She has worked in Rhode Island for the Public Defender’s office, the Domestic Violence Unit and volunteered at the Battered Women’s Shelter.

She has specialized in the areas of matrimonial and civil litigation. She is a member of the Passaic County, Essex County and the New Jersey State Bar Associations. She acted as a liaison for the Passaic County Bar Committee for selected events. She was also a member of the Northern New Jersey and Family Law Inns of Court. She also serves as an Early Settlement Panelist in Passaic, Morris and Essex Counties assisting in solutions to help divorce matters settle. She also has been appointed to the Child Custody and Parenting Committee of the Family Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association.

She was a speaker at the annual Boot Camp for matrimonial law clerks for the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, New Jersey Chapter. She spoke at the Institute of American and Talmudic Law for Continuing Legal Education for Attorneys on the First Amendment. She has spoken at functions held by accounting firms as well as a seminar for Merrill Lynch on divorce and money. She was chosen as one of the top 40 lawyers under 40 in the New Jersey Law Journal on July 24, 2006. She was nominated as one of the top 40 under 40 lawyers by New Jersey Biz in 2007. She co-authored an article called “Know Your Limits” published in the New Jersey Law Journal on August 14, 2006. She was appointed by the Supreme Court of New Jersey to the District XI Ethics Committee for Passaic County. She sat as a Moot Court Judge for Rutgers Law Students.

She is a biweekly guest on the Fox News “Weekend Show” with Julie Banderas and Gregg Jarrett on Sundays at 440pm and 540pm. She has been a repeat guest on the Fox News show “Live on the Desk” with Martha Mcullum regarding all newsworthy topics in the media. She has also appeared on “Show Biz Tonight with A.J. Hammer” discussing custody disputes for celebrity couples; as well as on Geraldo “At Large” discussing the Passport Denial Program. She has appeared on CNN “Headline News” with Erica Hill as well as on the Neil Cavuto show “ Your World with Neil Cavuto” on several occasions. She has appeared on Bill O’Reilly’s “The O’Reilly Factor”, Star Jones on Court TV; and was a featured guest for a Britney Spears hour long special with Bill McCuddy on Fox News. She has appeared on the “The Fox Report” with Shepard Smith. She has also appeared on the CBS “Early Show” with Maggie Rodriguez and on the Fox Business Channel show “Happy Hour” with Cody Willard and on a news show with David Asman and Liz Claiman discussing divorce and the economy.

She was recently quoted People Magazine on April 2, 2008 discussing the “Beckhams” and in the www.thehuffingtonpost.com about why politicians and celebrities cheat. She is currently awaiting publication of her two books “Love Lies and Litigation” as well as the “All Star Divorce”. She is also the CEO and Founder of www.divorcedating.com and will be launching her internet weekly radio show shortly online.

She was a volunteer with Make a Wish Foundation for the Passaic County Chapter, which grants wishes for terminally ill children. She also volunteers for soup kitchens in NYC, collects toys for tots, donates clothes for women in business, collects prom dresses and gowns for Catherine’s Closet, donates food for the underprivileged and participates in food drives yearly.
