This past Friday famed and used to be significant rapper DMX was arrested for the 79,000th time. This time he was attempting to purchase; get this, $45 worth of cocaine and weed. I’m not at all an advocate for hard drug use but if I were a celebrity and I was supposed to have money I’d at least get popped trying to buy a little more blow or something.

I mean $45 worth of cocaine and weed is something I can afford and lord knows that I haven’t sold over 14 million records or starred in several successful movies over the past decade. Read the rest of this entry »

Just when you thought it was safe to get rid of that VCR you have been holding onto in hopes BETA will make a comeback, a new sex “tape” bubbles to the surface. This time it is from Verne Troyer, star of Austin Powers and the Surreal Life.

Coincidentally this tape has rocked up at the perfect time, Troyer is staring in Mike Myers’ new movie, The Love Guru. Could this be a publicity stunt or just a tape falling into the wrong hands? Hmmmm, it seems like having a sex tape come out seems to boost careers and is something of a trend developing in Hollywood (think Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton, etc.).

The rumors that Madonna and Guy Ritchie were divorcing have been swirling for some time now, but with reports that they no longer sleep in the same room and even more recently that even though they took a vacation together to refresh their marriage, Guy supposedly spent more time with George Clooney filming a commercial than working on the relationship.

It is also believed that Madonna has consulted with Paul McCartney’s lawyer, Fiona Shackleton and Guy has hired a divorce attorney of his own. With Maddona being one of the most business savvy women in the world, why would she not have asked Guy Ritchie to sign a prenup? Is love blind even for the Material Girl herself or did she just believe she would NEVER get divorced?

You know, it’s always been beyond me why rappers want to be athletes and athletes seem to want to rap.

Since his early days in the NBA Shaq has been all of a half ass rapper and I must admit that I used to love dunking on my little brother on that Little Tykes goal that we had while listening to Shaq’s first couple of albums.

Of course as you get older you’re supposed to put childish things behind you, as I did; and not to mention my little brother is now like 6’6” so there’s not too many people in the world who can dunk on him these days anyways.

This pretty washed up Shaq guy seems to think he still has skills as an MC.

Christie Brinkley & Peter Cooke — a very PUBLIC Divorce

The Up-Town girl is taking the ex DOWN-TOWN - and right in public. That’s right - the ever-belle Christie Brinkley will once again bare the divorce torch, and like Clarke Griswold - we get to bare her privatetries…. Well, maybe not exactly as titillating as Clark Griswold’s exposure, but nonetheless, one can only be fascinated with this timeless beauty’s personal life.

Supposedly, the courtroom will be opened to the media.

“Extra” states that court papers will remain silent, but the courtroom itself will be wide open.

It was Brinkley’s will - and she got her way. There is concern, however, that with the trial being left open, it could harm her children.

Ex-husband Peter Cook wanted to keep matters silent for Jack (12), and Sailor (9) .
